Privacy policy

Who we are

Lawn Assistant(“we,” “us,” “our”) is a software service that helps independent lawn-care and landscape operators manage their business communications, send invoices and estimates, and accept payments. We are based in Phoenix, Arizona.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Operator account data: business name, contact phone number, email address, business logo, and payment provider connection details.
  • Customer data: names, phone numbers, service addresses, and any notes the operator records about a customer relationship.
  • Voice and message content: WhatsApp voice notes and text messages sent to or from the platform, along with generated transcripts.
  • Payment information: processed by Stripe and other payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Service data: invoices, estimates, payment status, timestamps, and other records generated through use of the service.

How we use information

  • To operate the service and deliver invoices, estimates, and reminders.
  • To process payments through our payment partners.
  • To respond to support requests from operators.
  • To improve product quality, including reviewing voice notes and transcripts in aggregate.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell or share personal information with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

SMS communications

The platform sends SMS and WhatsApp messages on behalf of operators to their customers. These messages are transactional (invoices, estimates, payment links, and service confirmations) and are only sent to recipients who have explicitly opted in to receive them.

  • Consent is collected by the operator using the opt-in flow described on our SMS Consent page. We log the confirmation message and timestamp.
  • Customers can reply STOP at any time to opt out of all platform-sent messages from a given operator. Opt-out is honored immediately and permanently.
  • Customers can reply HELPto receive a message with the operator’s contact information.
  • We do not share customer phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Data retention

  • Voice notes are deleted from our systems within 60 days of receipt.
  • Transcripts and structured records(invoices, payment status, customer notes) are retained for as long as the operator’s account is active and as required by tax and financial regulations.
  • Consent and opt-out records are retained for as long as required to demonstrate compliance with TCPA and carrier requirements.

Sub-processors

We rely on a small number of trusted vendors to operate the service:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Twilio — SMS delivery and WhatsApp Business API.
  • Cloud hosting providers — hosting and storage of application data in the United States.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to active operators by email or in-app notice.
